Please join us for an update on the Prosperity Business Park Comprehensive Plan Amendment, hosted by Bob Brant, Land Use Attorney with Walsh Colucci Lubeley & Walsh. Bob represents the owner of the Prosperity Business Park, which is an approximately 40 acre assemblage of property on the east and west side of Prosperity Avenue on the west side of Merrifield.
The owner previously submitted a site-specific plan amendment (SSPA) nomination with Fairfax County, which proposes an option to allow the redevelopment of the property with a residential development that includes both multifamily residential buildings and townhouses. There was some initial outreach done in 2023, which allowed the nominator to receive feedback from Fairfax County planning staff as well as members of the community. The nominator has made a number of refinements to the original concept plan, and is now planning to move forward with the process once again.
